Thanks, Rajiv for posting this (and Google linking to it). Upgrading PHP from 5.3.29 to 5.6 solved the mismatch problem for me. It’s mind-boggling how many people posted about this problem after updating to WP 4.5, and yet some of the forum threads I saw came up with all kinds of non-solution time-wasters. It is regrettable that WP didn’t alert people in advance about the potential mismatch issue with some versions of PHP and the resulting error messages that would no longer be suppressed in 4.5.
